Product Description

Designed for safe use in fencing practice, the Fencing Sidesword provides a realistic fencing simulator to the renaissance period HEMA practitioner. Unique in the time of the primarily piercing oriented rapiers, the side sword kept the cut and thrust aspects of the late medieval arming swords and added the protection of a complex hilt hand guard. This side sword features thick well rounded edges and a rolled tip for greater thrusting safety.

Due to the size of the sword it comes boxed disassembled to reduce the cost of shipping. Simply slide the guard over the tang followed by the grip, and screw on the pommel for an easy assembly.
