Product Description
Sir Lancelot du Lac (of the lake) was one of King Arthur’s greatest knights and his closest companion. He was the greatest swordsman and jouster of his age. He was sent to King Arthur’s court at Camelot by his foster mother, the Lady of the Lake. Whilst there he completed many knightly quests, one of which saw him battling 20 knights to become the Lord of Joyous Gard. He was one of the knights that went on the quest for the Holy Grail – but it was his son Galahad who ultimately seizes this prize.
Our Lancelot Sword is a product of the world famous Art Gladius factory in the historic sword manufacturing city of Toledo, Spain. Its heavily decorated hilt features a textured cross-guard with heraldic dragons motif at the centre and quillons terminating in boar’s heads. The pommel is decorated with Fleur du Lys and heraldic lions and tops a wire-bound grip. The blunt stainless steel blade features etched heraldic decoration and is suitable for display only.
Please note that this sword comes WITH a scabbard.
