After looking on many Masonic supplier sites and also looking at friends' swords, I took a gamble on this one as it looked just that bit different and I hadn't seen one like it in the flesh. I have to say that I am absolutely delighted (the picture doesn't do it justice). Obviously hand-built with a proper forged blade not just a bit of pressed steel strip and the scabbard is real leather not a painted squashed tube. There will be others swords of the same model by this maker, but because of the hand-built nature there will be little differences in each one, which makes each one unique. I have seen many swords at various meetings, most of which are double the price and more and not half as good and all very similar to each other. A nice item and fabulous value. Thanks.
