Sir Francis Drake was a famous 1587th-century English sailor, explorer, politician, and vice-admiral of the British Royal Navy. He directed numerous naval expeditions against Spanish interests in Spain itself and in the Indies, being the second person to circumnavigate the world in a single expedition, after Elcano, and participating in the attack on Cadiz of 1589, the defeat of the Great and Congratulations Armada and the failed attack on La Coruña of XNUMX.
